Arapahoe Basin‘s famous Pallavicini Lift officially opened this morning, providing access to some of the ski area’s most beloved terrain.

Terrain off the Pallavicini Lift

With the opening of Pallavicini, or Pali for short, comes skiing and snowboarding on Slalom Slope, Grizzly Road, Powder Keg, Scutter, Challenger, and Radical. Limited openings will also occur on the east side of the lift, including trails between Pallavicini and Rock Garden.

Pallavicini provides access mostly to double black runs on the front side of Arapahoe Basin. The terrain is legendary, featuring some scary steep tree and mogul runs to really put your legs to work.

Arapahoe Basin is currently open 7 days a week, with lifts spinning from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday and 8:30am-4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. With the opening of Pali, four lifts are now spinning at A-Basin, including top to bottom skiing and 29 of 147 trails.
