Jackson Hole Mountain Resort‘s Sublette Chairlift accessed some pretty remarkable terrain. As the highest elevation chairlift at the resort, it was both a guest favorite and an employee favorite. But Sublette’s time has come to an end. A new, high-speed quad has replaced the old lift, reducing the ride time to just four minutes to climb nearly 1600 feet.
Jackson Hole spent the summer cranking out work on the new lift, installing and preparing everything ahead of the 2024/25 ski season. An official opening for the lift hasn’t been 100% set, but their most recent update aims for a condition-dependent opening this month.
