Dan Noakes is a top tier powder hunter, sharing many of his kick-butt skiing adventures to his YouTube channel for all of us to enjoy. He sat down with his four-year-old son, allowing his child to ask him a series of questions about his love for skiing and his outdoor adventures.
Intermixed with this awesome interview are some great clips from a ski camping trip in the Idaho forest, searching good lines and hanging out at winter camps. Altogether it’s a great video, with Dan answering his son’s questions in a very thoughtful manner while giving cool insight into the mind of a backcountry skier.
“My 4 year old son interviewed me about how my ski trip in the remote Idaho forest was like in the Winter. He asks me why I like skiing so much, where I went on my trip, if I was a pro skier, does it make me sad that I am not a pro skier. All the essential questions that a 4 year old is curious about. Join me and Brian Peters as we spend 4 days in the Idaho forest looking for good lines to ski. Brian is one of the most well-traveled backcountry skiers in this region of Idaho and when he extended the invite to go on this trip, it didn’t take long for me to say yes.“
