We already talked about future storms headed towards the Northeast for later this week, with some decent snowfall expected at some New England ski resorts coming into the weekend. But things just keep getting better and better for East Coast skiers. If Chris Tomer’s forecast comes true, the next ten days could bring almost 2 feet to a Vermont ski resort.

Meteorologist Chris Tomer’s winter weather updates provide detailed snow forecasts for winter recreators across North America, including in-depth explanations about the incoming patterns and pressure systems. His experience is expansive, stretching nearly 20 years in weather consulting and including consulting for expeditions around the world.

Several storms could bring snow to New England over the next 10 days, some heavier and some lighter. The heavier storms look like they’ll hit around 12/5 and between 12/9 and 12/10. If those storms hit as Chris Tomer forecasts them to, Jay Peak could be looking at 23 inches of snow accumulation. Other resorts around Vermont hover between 10 inches and 20 inches, while over in Maine, Sunday River is forecasted at 13″ and Sugarloaf at 18″. It could be a good December for New England skiers!
