Ski season has started across western North America. Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and several more states have already seen lifts spinning and skiers/snowboarders ripping.
In Utah, both Brian Head Resort and Solitude Mountain opened this past weekend, though Solitude is currently closed Monday-Thursday. Several other ski resorts throughout the state are yet to get things going, but most will be open within a month. In fact, between today (November 12) and a month from now (December 12), ten ski resorts throughout the state are set to open.
So without further ado, here are the known official opening dates for Utah’s ski resorts (assuming conditions allow):
- Brighton Ski Resort: November 14
- Park City Mountain Resort: November 22
- Alta: November 22
- Snowbird: November 28
- Snowbasin: November 29
- Woodward Park City: November 29
- Sundance Mountain Resort: December 4
- Powder Mountain: December 6
- Nordic Valley Ski Resort: December 7
- Deer Valley Resort: December 7
- Eagle Point Resort: December 20
- Cherry Peak: TBA
- Beaver Mountain: TBA
