Great reminder that we have Olympic surfing to look forward to in just over a month as the Olympic flame arrived at Teahupoʻo on the island of Tahiti, French Polynesia where the events will be held. French Polynesian surfer Vahiné Fierro had the honor of carrying the flame as she arrived via canoe.
“It was a real honor to be able to light the torch this morning, with the whole population and the new surfing generation. There was a real sense of sharing and unity.” -Vahiné Fierro
