DURANGO, Colorado – Holders of the 2024/25 Power Pass and Power Pass Select will now have access to 7 interconnected days at Valle Nevado and La Parva in Chile through the southern hemisphere’s 2024 ski season.

The addition comes after Mountain Capital Partners (MCP), the distributors of the Power Pass, announced the purchase of La Prava earlier this month. With the purchase and integration of La Prava and Valle Nevado, MCP has created one of the largest lift-served resort in the southern hemisphere.

With the added days in Chile, MCP’s Power Passes effectively provide 12 months of skiing to pass holders. This includes access to (depending on the pass purchased) Willamette Pass, Nordic Valley, Brian Head Resort, Lee Canyon, Arizona Snowbowl, Pajarito Mountain, Sandia Peak Ski Area, Sipapu, and Purgatory for skiing in the United States, plus biking Spider Mountain Bike Park.

Additionally, the Power Kids pass is the only North American mega-pass that provides free skiing and mountain biking to those under 12-years-old, including unlimited access to all U.S. and Chilean mountains and bike parks on the Power Pass, (valid until April 30, 2025 if purchased now). Those 75 or older can also access free skiing with the Super Senior Pass, which features the same benefits as the Power Kids pass.

The full Power Pass, which provides unlimited access to all U.S. mountains and 7 days at MCP’s Chilean mountains (plus additional benefits, including a free round of golf), costs $849 for those aged 37-64. Those younger or older than that age range get access to cheaper, young-adult, youth, or senior passes (as low as $449!).

MCP’s Arizona Snowbowl just announced another season extension, pushing their closing date to June 1. Those who’ve already purchased a 2024/25 Power Pass can take advantage of the mountain’s and state’s latest ski season ever if eligible.
