When it comes to gnarly marine motorsports, I think the Thais take the cake. Just saw Thai style turbo long-tail boat drag racing for the first time and I’m frankly astonished. These dudes top out at 100mph:

Long-tail dragsters race on boats typically made from wood about the size of a cot. They are powered by everything from 150cc single cylinders to unlimited cc twin-cylinder motorcycle engines. They get their name from the massive prop shafts that extend from the stern of the tiny vessels.

Long-tail boats are controlled by the shifting body weight of the rider and adjusting the trim by finessing the angle of the long-tail. As you might imagine, its not an exact science. No steering wheel, no helmets, no lifejackets. This sport is WILD.
