ARAPAHOE BASIN, Colorado – Arapahoe Basin has confirmed their intentions to remain open at least into June, with a closing date remaining unannounced. Operations and conditions will be assessed week-by-week once the month of May comes to an end.
“While we do not have a closing date to announce quite yet, rest assured that we will be skiing and riding till JUNE! Once we reach the end of May, operations will be assessed on a week-by-week basis based on conditions. Keep an eye on our social channels and website for real time updates. For now, we’ll keep on keepin’ on and see you on the slopes.”
Arapahoe Basin is one of two resorts that remain open in Colorado, the other being Winter Park. Both resorts have committed to staying open as late as possible, bringing plenty of ski runs and lifts to the Colorado masses as the weather warms.
Arapahoe Basin currently has a base depth of 66 inches and received a healthy 11 inches of new snowfall through the last 48 hours. They continue to run 8 of 9 lifts and 98 of 144 trails.
