MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, California – Boarding 4 Breast Cancer’s (B4BC) Love Your Peaks event is this weekend at Mammoth Mountain, bringing a whole host of events to the resort in support of breast cancer awareness and prevention.

B4BC, which advocates for early detection and healthy, active lifestyles as breast cancer prevention, is set to put on a weekend to remember. Kicking things off on the mountain(though not technically a part of the B4BC weekend) is the Slush Magazine World Quarter Finals, taking place on Friday, May 3.

Saturday is when Love Your Peaks really gets going, starting with slalom check-in and bib handout between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. Then, from 5pm-7:30pm, is the Party in the Park.

The Slalom race runs from 10am-1pm on Sunday, May 5, giving participants the opportunity to hit the course twice for a combined time final score. The fastest time of the 150 participants will win a prize and bragging rights, but everyone who registers will get themselves a B4BC gift pack. Registration is $25 and can be done here.

At 1:30pm, the Love Your Peaks tribute ride is set to take place, and awards from the race begin at 2pm. To close things out, the raffle and auction begin at 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 5.

B4BC’s Love Your Peaks event includes a tribute ride, a fun race, and plenty of opportunities to raise money for a good cause. Skiers and snowboarders are invited to participate and help support breast cancer awareness and prevention. There will also be a raffle with some pretty incredible prizes from partners, as well as post-race après, awards, and drink specials at Tusks Bar.

If you can’t make it to the event but still want to show your support, you can send a donation to the event here. If you’re interested in donating directly to Boarding 4 Breast Cancer, you can do so here.
