“Second Season is just getting good!”
If didn’t know already, spring skiing up at Mammoth Mountain is so good they call their “Second Season.” Lifts are spinning until at least Memorial Day and things are just heating up. Here’s their operational update as of 6:30am:
And just like that, the tides have turned for the weekend. Expect intermittent snowfall throughout the day today and strong winds in addition to low visibility that will affect upper mountain lift operations. Good news, park shredders, South Park, will re-open for the weekend tomorrow, Saturday 4/27 & Sunday, 4/28, with an insane late-season setup from top-to-bottom.
Operational Reminders: Canyon Lodge will re-open for the weekend today, Friday, April 26 – Sunday, April 28, for parking and skier access to the mountain. This includes the Village Gondola as well. The Tube Park at Woolly’s Adventure Summit, Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center, Snowmobile Adventures, and Eagle Lodge are now CLOSED for the season.
Broadway Express (Chair 1) is closed for the season as we begin putting in its replacement. Please note terrain will be impacted in the surrounding area due to construction. Remember – we continue to ride out of Main Lodge and The Mill daily through Memorial Day!
