WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK, Alberta – If there’s one way to piss off a mama grizzly, it’s approaching her cubs.
Reddit user u/calloussaucer shared this video to the Montana subreddit, showing a mother grizzly bear and her three cubs running from an oncoming vehicle. The mother bear, after getting the cubs off the road, charges through a fence at the oncoming vehicle. Fortunately she doesn’t actually try to attack the truck, as that could turn dangerous for both her and the driver very quickly.
The clip, despite being shared on the Montana subreddit, was actually shot in Canada, near Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta. Waterton Lakes NP is basically just the Canadian side of Glacier National Park here in the United States, which is why it was shared where it was shared.
