POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho Fish and Game Southwest Region knocked this young mountain lion out of a tree back on April 18, using a sedative dart to take him down.

Animals getting hurt is never funny. Animals rag-dolling out of a tree to eventual safety… that’s pretty funny. Fortunately Idaho Fish and Game, with help from Pocatello police department, were able to safely catch the animal and relocate him to a distant and remote location.

“Idaho Fish and Game, with help from the Pocatello Police Department, darted and relocated the lion to a remote location in southeast Idaho. Thanks to all at the scene who helped with this effort!“
