Sugarbush’s connector chairlift is back in action.
Today, Sugarbush Resort opened the Slide Brook Express Quad for the season. Slide Brook links Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen, making it the easiest way to reach the two mountains on skis. When it’s not open, the two peaks are connected by shuttle, so having this lift spinning is a big flipping deal. Last season, the chairlift reopened after two years of being on hiatus. Opening it takes sufficient natural snowfall, as there needs to be a way for workers to reach the lift line in case of an emergency.
