One of the pioneers of North America’s ski industry passed away this week.

Bill Bergman, who co-founded Keystone Resort, passed away Monday morning at the age of 99. Bill co-founded Keystone Resort, which opened in November of 1970. He was the first President of the ski resort and remained involved in the community through the rest of his life. Bergman’s legacy will continue to be honored this coming winter with the opening of the Bergman Bowl.

We here at Unofficial Networks send our thoughts and prayers to Keystone Resort and the Bergman family during this challenging time.

For more information about Bill’s legacy, we’ve included two videos in this post: one from Keystone Resort and another from the Colorado Snowsports Museum Hall of Fame, where he was inducted in 2012.
