Are you looking to ski or ride during this long weekend? This deep winter out West has allowed for a few ski resorts to remain open through July. In addition, there’s an indoor ski resort on the East Coast that will be spinning its lifts on the Fourth. If you are around California, the New York metropolitan area, or Oregon for this long weekend, you’re in luck.

Here’s a breakdown of what indoor and outdoor ski resorts will have lift-serviced skiing in the United States for the Fourth of July Weekend.

Big SNOW American Dream

  • Hours: Friday (1-9 pm), Saturday (10 am-9 pm), Sunday (10 am-8 pm), Monday and the Fourth (1-8 pm).
  • Lifts: The BIG Express Quad and Carpet 1.

Mammoth Mountain

  • Hours: 7:30 am-1 pm each day.
  • Lifts: Broadway (1), Stump Alley (2), Face Lift (3), High Five (5), Unbound (6), Discovery (11), Chair 23, and the Panorama Gondola.
  • Notes: The Bike Park opened for the season today. On Sunday night, there will be a Freedom Bash, which will have people go up to McCoy Station for a party. This will be capped off with fireworks. On Monday, there will be an Independence Day Celebration, which will have Chihuahua Races, live music, and a fireworks display. Independence Day will have a variety of events in the town of Mammoth Lakes, including a parade.

Palisades Tahoe

  • Hours: 8 am-2 pm Friday through the Fourth.
  • Lifts Open: Treeline Cirque, Roundhouse, and Summit over at Alpine Meadows.
  • Notes: Paid Parking Reservations are required over at Alpine Meadows from Saturday until closing day. If you want to park for free and without a reservation, you can park on the Palisades side, which will have a shuttle service to Alpine Meadows. No lift-serviced skiing is available on the Palisades side, but the Village and the Tram are open.

Timberline Lodge

  • Hours: 7 am-2 pm
  • Lifts: Magic Mile, Palmer, & Magic Mile Sky Ride.
