“We were on an east facing slope which was forecasted at moderate for the day. We started our hike around 8 and were dropping in around 10:30-11. We saw one slide on the way up that looked to be old. After this happened we saw 5 naturals slides in the area that weren’t there on the skin up. It seems as the day warmed up the avalanche danger rose to high vs the moderate forecasted for the aspect.”

A snowboarder in Utah got taken for a ride on Friday April 7th after triggering an avalanche on Bob’s Knob outside of Provo. Luckily he stayed on top of the debris and was not buried in the slide.
The man involved posted the video to Reddit and fielded questions about the circumstances surrounding the incident, to read more GO HERE:

Here’s a report post to Utah Avalanche Center of someone who witnessed the slide:

Traveling from Aspen Grove starting at 10:45, I heard and saw more than a dozen small avalanches and snow falls on the N side of Elk Point. At 11:12 a snowboarder in a party of 2 triggered small avalanche on Bob’s Knob. It began in shallow snow after his first couple of turns, and carried him about halfway down the hill before he rode to the side. His partner was safely on the side. In the moments after the two made it down, 3 larger slides come down in the same area. Red line in photo shows initial start.
