“World Telemark Day is about celebrating the greatest turn on snow. It’s the foundation of the free heel community and we grow Telemark skiing by turning all of our friends onto the Telemark turn.” – Taylor Johnson, FHL General Manager

Shoutout to the good folks over at Freeheel Life for putting together is recap video of the 9th annual World Telemark Day celebrations at Alta Ski Resort in Utah. As a reminder to tele skiers across the globe, celebrating World Telemark Day is easy. Wherever you are, just go tele skiing on the first Saturday of March every year in solidarity.  If you’re a fan of eventification, plan ahead for next winter and organize your own local meet up to commemorate the day with friends and family and hopefully introduce someone new to their first day telemark skiing.
