“I came i saw i saddleback’ed. Thanks for the mint times n the moxies @saddlebackmaine.”-Donny Pelletier, Maine’s best skier.

Maine’s finest athlete is hyping up Maine’s favorite mountain. Saddleback, which reopened back in 2020, has been investing millions of dollars to improve the ski resort, resulting in it being named the 2022 Readers’ Choice Best Ski Mountain in Maine by Down East Magazine.

In a recent marketing campaign, Saddleback partnered with skiing legend Donny Pelletier for a Roadside Marketing campaign to promote the rising Maine skiing giant. One of the videos is at the fork of the road that divides the route to Saddleback and Sugarloaf, with Donny making a great argument for taking the seven-mile trip further up to Saddleback.

According to Saddleback’s marketing team, here’s why you should make the trip to Saddleback over Sugarloaf:

“It’s a shorter distance than you think (7-mile difference), it’s well worth the drive to experience shorter lift lines and new mountain investments, and it’s an independently-minded group of people coming together to enjoy the sport.”

The videos show Donny waiting at the fork, and then traveling up to Saddleback to experience the mountain. He friggen’ sends it all across their slopes and then finishes the day off with a Moxie. It’s safe to say that the conditions and the experience were wickid mint.
