For those Stowe customers that have been unhappy about the parking and traffic situation, I have a suggestion for you: go check out Bolton Valley Resort in Richmond, Vermont. The mountain first spun its lifts for the 2022-23 season last Friday, which featured 3 lifts spinning, 5 trails, and 1 terrain park open. The mountain is currently closed, but will likely reopen this Saturday.
It was another busy offseason for Bolton, as various projects were completed. As discussed in the latest episode of Letters With Lindsay DesLauriers, the President of Bolton Valley explained what offseason improvements have been done.
Some of the projects include snowmaking enhancements, acquiring three electric snowmobiles, completing the Timberline Lodge expansion project, and adding Italian food service and a bar to Timberline Lodge. The video from Bolton Valley is below.
