“There will be a bird in the air to transport final towers, cross arms and sheave trains to Eagle Peak tomorrow.” –Lookout Pass

Great news if you ski or ride Idaho’s Lookout Pass Ski Area, the resort making major headway in installing their New Eagle Peak Quad Chairlift which will open up 500 new acres of terrain.  Helicopters were on site today installing the lift towers that will service 14 new runs and increase vertical terrain to 1,650 ft. When the project is finished it will almost double the amount of existing terrain. Here’s the play by play from Lookout Pass’s Blog:
