The skateboarders vs. cops battle is as old as the sport of skateboarding itself.
That’s why I was pleasantly surprised to see the video below as I was scrolling through my Instagram feed.
Instead of some power-tripped-out cops shutting down kids from having some harmless fun, these officers cheered on as a few skaters sessioned a ramp in the middle of a parking lot.
Best part is at the end of the video when the cop says: ““Anybody kick flip off this thing or no?”
Police officers have been a controversial topic over the last few years. I’m not going to dive into my opinions on the matter, but I think every person in America needs this clip right now.
Cops being cool with some skateboarders having a good time is refreshing, to say the least.
