There’s a short-list of ski resorts that come up in the ‘Most Challenging’ conversation.
Telluride, Snowbird, Jackson, and Silverton usually top the list, but Crested Butte usually finds itself somewhere in the Top 10, and for good reason.
The Butte is home to Rambo, one of the steepest trails in North America, and the terrain accessible by the resort’s two summit surface lifts will keep any expert skier entertained.
gunnisoncrestedbutte.com created a great short video showing why pro skier Wiley Miller (@wileymiller) loves skiing Crested Butte, and it’s pretty easy to see why.

I’ve never been out to The Butte myself, but I’ll get around to ski it one of these days.
I’m a little deterred due to the epic amount of people that flock there these days, but I feel like a fraudulent skier having never graced those slopes.
