While the season is coming to an end across most of the country, one California ski resort is still looking to keep the part going as late as they possible can. Mammoth Mountain has announced an extension of its 2025-26 ski and snowboard season through May 31st, citing strong snow coverage on the upper mountain.

Three lifts will operate daily from 7:30am to 1:00pm during the final stretch of the season. Broadway Express (Chair 1), Face Lift Express (Chair 3), and Chair 23 will all be running, and Main Lodge will remain open for food and beverage service, rentals, equipment repairs, and lessons through the closing date.

The extended ski season overlaps with the opening of Mammoth’s bike park, which is scheduled to welcome riders on May 22nd. Golf operations are already underway at the resort, meaning that beginning May 22nd visitors will have the rare opportunity to ski, bike, and golf all in a single day at one destination.

Ticket packages covering the multi-sport experience are available on the resort’s website.
