Florida: the state of Disney, crazy news stories involving many different men, and alligators. No offense to those who live there, but news stories rarely seem to encourage travel to the southernmost state in the United States, and this one likely won’t either.
This big guy was spotted Easter morning in Venice, slowly making his way towards Harrington Lake. Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office puts him at an estimated 10 feet long, and though his appearance was reported, there was no official response, so this big ol’ beast is likely still hanging out in the waters he eventually reached. I know I’ll sleep well tonight knowing I don’t live anywhere near this guy.
