A departing business jet that skidded off the end of the runway at The Aspen Airport late Monday morning, forcing the facility to close for roughly nine hours. The Aspen Times reports no one was injured and it is currently unclear what caused the Hawker 800 business jet on its way to Austin, Texas to ended up buried in snow.  The wings were removed from the fuselage before a crane was brought in to remove the 8-person capacity private jet.  The aircraft was moved to a staging area where the NTSB and FAA will further investigate the cause of the incident.
