Chris Benchetler is ascending his legend in skiing culture with the addition of three new models with Atomic Skis. Atomic has been making the Bent Chetler 120s for years, recently added the Bent Chetler 100s, and is now adding three new models for next season.

The Bent Family now consists of 5 ski models ranging from 85mm-120mm underfoot. Effectively making it possible to build an entire quiver of freeride skis all within the Bent Family.

Here’s the full lineup from narrowest to widest:

Bent 85

Specs (175cm): 117mm/85mm/109mm

Available Lengths: 150cm, 160cm, 165cm, 170cm, 175cm

Bent 90

Specs (184cm): 119mm/90mm/109mm

Available Lengths: 157cm, 166cm, 175cm, 184cm

Bent 100

Specs (188cm): 130.5mm/100mm/121mm

Available Lengths: 164cm, 172cm, 180cm, 188cm

Bent 110

Specs (188cm): 134mm/110mm/125mm

Available Lengths: 172cm, 180cm, 188cm

Bent Chetler 120

Specs (184cm): 143mm/120mm/134mm

Available Lengths: 176cm, 184cm, 192cm

I’m most excited to see how the 85s and 110s perform. Those widths seem like the best fit for my skiing style. Narrow for the hard-pack and mogul days, mid-wide for deeper days. Maybe throw in a pair of the 100s for anything in between.

Atomic is banking on Benchetler to establish their line of Bent Family skis as the pinnacle for freeriders across the world. We’ll see how that plays out, but there’s a lot of excitement across the industry at the moment.

Before you guys start accusing me of trying to sell Atomic Skis, let me make a big disclaimer. I, nor Unofficial Networks, have been paid for this blog. I’m just genuinely a fan of Chris Benchetler, and the skis he’s put out in the past. His new line with Atomic has me excited to check them out next season, and I figured I’d share that excitement with all of you.

What do you think about the new Bent Family from Atomic? Is there a new model that you’d like to demo or even buy for next season?
