Staffing shortages. Two of the most frustrating buzzwords of this ski season.

Alta Ski Area has cancelled their annual New Year’s Eve torchlight parade due to staffing shortages affecting the ski area. Bummer.

At least Alta doesn’t appear to have any problems opening terrain or running the actual ski area. Check out how Vail Resorts is doing on that front in our recent posts… But, it’s still a bummer that they’re having to cancel the staple torchlight parade.

Here’s to hoping they can bring it back next year.
