When Candide drops a new clip. I post it. It’s a pretty simple rule to follow. The Frenchman is just one of those people I can’t ignore when it comes to the skiing industry.
I don’t know if he does anything mind-blowing in this short clip, but everything he does is cooler because he is Candide. Imagine if you saw him just carving up a groomer at your local resort? Wouldn’t that just be automatically cooler than seeing any other pro skier do the exact same thing?
I think it might be because Candide has retained a sense of anonymity around his personality in this day and age where everybody is putting themselves out there on the internet. It feels like Candide almost carries a mystic aura around him because of this. I want to know more about him, but I respect him so much for not slapping his face everywhere on the internet.
Candide is a true inspiration of mine, and I don’t care who knows it. I’m sure there’s a lot of you out there that I agree when I say this- Candide Thovex is the GOAT, and it’s not even close.
