I saw a comment on one of our recent Facebook posts that suggested the US Government should permanently close Yellowstone National Park because of all of the ignorant tourists that flock there annually.
While I think that’s a dramatic response to blind ignorance, I’m definitely not opposed to somehow screening people before they enter the park.
Maybe the Park Rangers should make everybody take a basic IQ test. Or, just show them a picture of an elk and ask them, “Are you dumb enough to get really close to this bull elk during mating season for a picture?” If they say yes, turn them around and tell them to head back to whatever city they came from.
I’m just over it at this point, but I feel like there’s an endless stream of videos of ignorant wackos approaching bull elk, and nearly getting killed, because they wanted to take a picture for Instagram or some other bullshit.
JUST STAY AWAY FROM THE ELK, PEOPLE. PLEASE.
