Fire season has been intensifying in the United States in recent years. Fire season is longer and the fires are more intense and destrcutive than ever before. In addition, resources are limited. It is not uncommon to see fire crews from far away states helping fight large fires.
The Bomberos are a fire crew from Mexico who have been helping fight the Dixie Fire in Northern California. This team of Mexican nationals are hired by a contractor. They come to the U.S. to fight fires and earn a substantially higher wage compared to Mexico.
