Chilean landscape photographer Rodrigo Viveros was lucky enough to capture the ethereal beauty of this dust devil spiralling into the skies of Alto Las Vizcachas outside of Santiago. Dust devils are short-lived whirlwinds with a primary vertical motion. Comparable to tornadoes, as both involve vertically oriented rotating columns of wind, but in most case they are harmless. Fascinante.
