Looks like the edits filmed up on Palmer this summer are slowly starting to trickle out. The most recent one I’ve seen is a quick hitter of Phil Casabon and Sammy Carlson hitting a big kicker in the summer sunshine.

I was sad to see Timberline close the Palmer lift so early this season. Climate change sucks and we need to protect spring and summer laps on Palmer at all costs. It’s practically an institution of the American ski and snowboard scene at this point.

What are we if our pro athletes can’t film sick edits of them ripping around in July and August? A bunch of frauds, that’s what.

“Style titans Phil Casabon and Sammy Carlson stomp foot on Mt. Hood’s volcanic ground to capture, with the hand of Hotlaps and his wizard staff, ‘The Spirit of the Thing’.”
