Introducing helicopters to the sport of mountain biking seems to be a growing trend across the continent. Outfitters are realizing that mountain biking is a rapidly growing sport, and they’re aiming to capitalize on that by servicing remote backcountry areas for paying customers.

YouTube channel Mahalo My Dude went on the backcountry mountain biking trip of a lifetime in BC, and put together a fantastically edited video to show the trip.

Him and his gang are riding a trail called Disneyland in Squamish, BC. The trail can be accessed by hikers, but he said he paid just over $150 for a heli ride to the top. Not too bad for 5 hours of downhill technical riding in the backcountry.

I really enjoyed the narration of the video, and how it blended quality GoPro footage with drone shots. Looks like these guys had an absolute blast.
