The Bureau of Land Management is on the hunt for whoever is responsible for the vulgar graffiti discovered Monday in Moab and is offering $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible.

FOX 13 reports Moab Tour Company guide, Dustin Ferre, noticed someone had marked up the designs on “The Birthing Scene” on Monday.  Along with graphic images, the person also wrote “White Power” but crossed out the first attempt after misspelling the word “white.”

This is the second such case of vandalism in the area in as many weeks. Local officials are furious over the increasing amount of vandalism near Moab and across Utah’s treasured lands. Grand County Commissioner Mary McGann is asking the public to start taking photos of anyone vandalizing petroglyphs, or any rock structure and provide them to the police.

If you have any information concerning this vandalism or any other, please contact BLM Law Enforcement at 435-259-2131 or 800-722-3998. You can remain anonymous. Really hope the scumbags behind this are brought to justice.
