Spring Skiing Capital

^Squaw Valley is the self-proclaimed ‘Spring Skiing Capital’

Spring has sprung across most of the continent, and skiers are enjoying some sunny, warm laps after a cold winter.

Pack your jorts and your best button up shirt and head out to these resorts for some fantastic spring skiing conditions. You won’t regret it.

Charles R: “A Basin. I’ve skied in Utah for thirty years and won’t be leaving any time soon, but the Basin is the best spring scene.”

John C: “I can’t say what the “best” is, but I can put out great reviews for: Mount Bachelor in Oregon (golf in the afternoon anyone?) and Mammoth Mountain. Both always offer great skiing through Memorial Day in most years…and often beyond. Nothing like a Pow Day in May!”

Chris H: “Squaw states they are the spring skiing capitol so must be true 🙂 also I guess we get to ski till may this year… almost summer skiing too!”

Dan M: “Chugach Powder Guides was my best May skiing experience. Powder for 1000 vertical, gradually becoming corn for another 1000 feet.”

Michael P: “Was just in Aspen was amazing”

Timmy H: “On the east coast it’s Stowe hands down. Goat, Starr, National and Lift Line.”

Brett N: “Friggin’, Tuckerman’s Ravine, brah…”
