Remember this moment, it probably won’t happen again…

Wachusett Mountain located in Princeton, MA received the most snowfall of any ski resort in the U.S. this past week with a whopping 31″ in the last 7 days, according to their official snow reports.

Wachusett is unofficially crowned as our first “Snow Winner of The Week”!

Wachusett Mountain Ski Area

The resort is only a quick 90 minute drive from Boston, MA and normally averages only 100″ each season. The 1000′ vertical resort is a staple for Bostonians looking for good skiing that’s not too far away.

The ski resort has been slammed with snow, but is still taking its time to open up. Snowmaking is currently taking place across many of Wachusett’s slopes, but 6 of the mountain’s 27 trails are open!

Is this storm a preview of what’s to come for the Northeast this season?
