Grand Targhee Resort took to Facebook to express just how lucky one skier got after ducking a rope over a huge cornice.

A guest got VERY lucky yesterday! Ducking rope lines is extremely dangerous. A cornice is an overhanging edge of snow on a ridge or crest of a mountain. They are extremely dangerous and can break unexpectedly.

Stay safe out there, read signs, and don’t duck rope lines! @ Grand Targhee Resort
