North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un has attended a ceremony to officially open a new mountain resort including hot springs, a ski slope, and horse riding center.

Kim cut the ribbon during the ceremonial opening of the Yangdok Hot Spring Cultural Recreation Center and praised his soldiers for creating a “miracle and perfect edifice” that serves the ruling party’s efforts to guide people to modern civilization, a state media report said.

It is a “city-like resort” that comprises indoor and outdoor baths, “modern service facilities, single- and multi-storied dwelling houses, a skiing ground, a horse-riding park, etc. perfect in terms of formative art, reciprocity, connectivity and practicality are organized nature-and environment-friendly,” another report added.
