Ski Land in Alaska claims to have “The farthest north chairlift in North America.” The resort is about 20 miles north of Fairbanks, AK.

The resort only operates on Saturday and Sunday during the winter season. Ski Land’s season typically lasts from early December to mid April.

A huge benefit of Ski Land’s location is the ability to see the Aurora. The resort offers Aurora Viewing from October 1st-mid April seven nights a week. Typically the Aurora can be viewed between 9pm-3am. The picture below is jaw-dropping… Can’t believe it’s real!
