Maybe invasion is too strong a word but if you live in an area that has recently been introduced to an e-scooter program it seems like they showed up overnight infesting sidewalks, bike lanes and every other piece of pavement in plague like proportions. Whether you find them useful or a nuisance you have to appreciate how skaters have taken advantage of the new urban feature to get remarkable amounts of speed with minimal runways. Well played:
