Of the over 8,000 photos entered into the National Park Foundation’s Photo Contest, the photo that took the grand prize was this ho hum photo of a split boarder setting a skin track.

The photo, taken by Ching Fu, was shot in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in the state of Wyoming. Ching took home $10,000 for snapping this pic.

The National Park Foundation’s Photo Contest invites amateur photographers to submit photos taken at federal recreation sites, including national parks, wildlife refuges and national forests.

“These photos are a window into the incredible experiences that await us at national parks and public lands across the country,” said Will Shafroth, president of the National Park Foundation. “This annual contest is a great example of how committed partners help inspire people to get out and explore these diverse places of beauty that belong to all of us.”

Taking 2nd place was this banger photo of a bison soldiers on through a winter blizzard in Yellowstone National Park taken by Joe Neely.
