Solitude Ski Resort in Utah has confirmed that two ski patrolmen were caught in an inbound avalanche Thursday morning. The slide was triggered around10:30 a.m in Honeycomb Canyon. KUTV reports one patrollers was buried and resurfaced a short time later “from a deployed avalanche airbag”. The second patroller helped dig out the buried victim and although neither suffered serious injuries, they were transported to a local hospital as a precaution. Be careful out there Utah skiers and snowboarders, with all the recent snow avalanche conditions persist in the mountains:
