Colorado has already seen record snowfall this early season, enough for many resorts to move up their scheduled opening days. As such, skiers and snowboarders in the Centennial state have nothing to complain about. California on the other hand…
Meanwhile, you can’t really go wrong at Loveland Ski Area, which is reporting record levels of early season snowfall, Eldora Ski Area near Nederland also opened on their earliest date in over 20 years.
Coming off the heels of a poor season in 2017-2018, resort operators are optimistic this early season snow surge is a sign of good things to come. Unlike opening days of the past, the strong early season snowfall has allowed the Colorado ski resorts to open a larger amount of acreage and varied terrain.
Be advised Broncos Fans: At Winter Park you can celebrate opening day with $1 Coors Light all day and visits from Bronco’s mascot Miles.
