Thanks to an unseasonably early arrival by Ullr– Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek will both open early for the 2018/2019 ski season this week.
Vail will open to the public on Wednesday November 14th and Beaver Creek will follow this weekend on Saturday, November 17th. Vail will offer base area lift access at both Vail Village and Lionshead.

Beaver Creek will also host a great deal of terrain on opening day with top-2-bottom skiing and riding as accessed via Gold Dust. The FIS World Cup Bird’s Of Prey comp is currently scheduled for Nov 29th-December 2nd.

Opening week festivities will include free breakfast burritos at Vail as well as the first ‘cookie time’ of the season at Beaver Creek.
