GoPro has confirmed they will discontinue producing drones but vow to “continue to provide service and support to Karma customers.” GoPro will also be laying off 20 percent of its workforce and CEO Nick Woodman has reduced his salary to $1 for 2018 in a effort to rebound after a disastrous 2017:

“GoPro is committed to turning our business around in 2018. We entered the new year with strong sell-through and are excited with our hardware and software roadmap. We expect that going forward, our roadmap coupled with a lower operating expense model will enable GoPro to return to profitability and growth in the second half of 2018.”

GoPro is still selling the Karma on their website for $799. If you are interested in owning one, you better buy it now because they aren’t making any more:
