Still in its early development stages, Kanggye Ski Resort will be North Korea’s second ski area development in less than 5 years.

The antagonistic regime and its state-sponsored media announced that they are still in the midst of building out the ski area, which appears to be a much smaller version of its flagship area, the Masikryong Ski Resort. The newly built resort will feature mostly surface lifts and will only cover 12 acres reports NK News.

Obviously this resort will be the second best ski area in the world falling only behind its southern neighbor, Masikryong– this according to Kim Jong Un.
