Emergency crews had to rescue rafters on Eagle River in Eagle County, Colorado over the weekend as river levels rise as mountain snow melts its way into the waterways. With peak flows expected in the next week for Colorado, its a great opportunity to talk about water safety. 3 out of the 4 people in that raft did not have lifejackets on and that is outright unacceptable. Don’t be stupid and always wear a PFD while enjoying river sports. So simple, no excuses.
