Jackson Hole To Open Thursday December 1, 2016

Jackson Hole has relased an official press relase informing us that thanks to the latest snowfall the resort will open this Thursday. Details below.

(November 29, 2016), Teton Village, WY ––With 100 inches of total snowfall season to date, JHMR is pleased to announce this Thursday Après Vous and Teewinot will open, followed by Teton and Casper Lifts  on Saturday. The latest storm cycle produced 24 inches of snow in two days, allowing JHMR to open 2,700 ft. of vertical terrain with runs off both the Casper and Teton Lifts for the weekend.

Jackson Hole, recently voted #1 resort by Forbes, is at the top of the Rocky Mountain region for snow fall, and snow depths on the upper mountain are above average. “This last storm cycle really produced in a big way, and we’re happy to be able open up as much terrain as possible,” stated Vice President of Operations, Tim Mason.  “Our mountain operations staff has done an exceptional job the last few weeks preparing for the season in some challenging conditions, and we’re excited to deliver a really good product for our guests this weekend with Teton and Casper lifts,” Mason went on to note.

On Thursday, Café 6311 opens for the season. Over the weekend Casper Restaurant will be open for grab-and-go items and soup and Nick Wilson’s will be open for lunch and après.  Please stay tuned to jacksonhole.com for updated terrain and lift opening announcements.
