Very interesting format twist for this DC SHOES sponsored event at Mammoth Mountain, California.  Hit & Run combines aspects of judged halfpipe and slopestyle runs with a timed slalom race. Refreshing to see a speed incentive combined with traditional judged events.

“Competitors battling it out for the fastest time down the course while dropping their best tricks for precious time deductions. The event combined the speed and turns of a traditional banked slalom with the trickery and skills of a slopestyle and pipe event.”

There are two more stops on the DC SHOES Hit & Run Tour, the first being Meribel, France on March 17th-18th and the final stop in Whistler, BC on March 26th-27th.  Hope this type of event gains traction, cool to see these kids pinning it after styling out in the pipe and park.
